Kotak Mahindra Prime in Association with Impact Guru Foundation Launches ‘Care on Wheels’ to Enhance Community Healthcare in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

A free doorstep healthcare service for around 2 Lakh underserved people across 60 locations in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, February, 2024: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. (KMPL), in association with Impact Guru Foundation launched ‘Care on Wheels’ to enhance access to healthcare services for underserved communities today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The initiative deploys six Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) to deliver free healthcare directly to the doorsteps of over 2 Lakh people who lack access to affordable healthcare facilities.

Kotak Prime’s CSR initiative launch function was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Bhavin Solanki – Medical Officer of Health, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Mr. Surendra Sharma – Director – Sharma Group, Mr. Raghavendra Dixit, Zonal Sales Manager, Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. and Mr. Uday Karia, Senior Area Sales Manager, Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd.  and Mr. Sundeep Talwar, CEO of Impact Guru Foundation.

Care on Wheels is a curated CSR initiative to assist individuals grappling with healthcare accessibility challenges, particularly the elderly and remote government school children. Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) will offer essential medical services, encompassing examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, coupled with complimentary medicines. Led by qualified paramedical professionals, including MBBS doctors, Healthcare Workers, a pharmacist, and dedicated support staff, these MMUs journey to diverse locales within the Ahmedabad district, ensuring the delivery of vital healthcare services.
